Description
A single celled rectangular domestic structure. It is located on a small flat area on the lowest flank on the west side of Moel Emoel, overlooking land draining to the south-west towards Llyn Maen Bras. The site consists of turf-covered earth and stone constructed foundations measuring approximately 11m long by 8m wide with banks surviving up to 3m wide by 0.5m high. There is an entrance flanked by a pair of orthostatic door jambs on the south gable end. The site is located 40m to the south of a hut circle/stock enclosure (NPRN 519305) with which it is clearly associated. P.J. Schofield, OA North, 5th May 2011.
