An 'L-shaped' complex of buildings adjacent to the foreshore and the presence of a limekiln (NPRN 525807) confirm a landing place. Modern mapping/aerial photography shows that the farm complex has retreated to a new location some 150m inland. Modern aerial photography shows only heavy tree cover at the farm's former location.
