Description
On the western bank of the Kingswood Pill, a cutting measuring some 79m x 45m with a small dock or enchanced mud berth at its southeastern corner is shown on OS 1st edition 25in mapping. Modern aerial photography suggests that the workings may still flood at some states of tide. The small dock or berth on the eastern side of the pill (NPRN 525829) may be associated with managing vessels waiting to load from the quarry.
