A track leading down to the foreshore at the northern side of Barafundle Bay suggests a landing place although there is no obvious settlement or industrial need? However, the landing place may have some longveity as a flint working floor was identified by A L Leach in 1913 in the cliffs above (Dyfed Archaeological Trust HER ref 599).
