Two tracks converge on a cut in the cliffs suggesting a traditional landing place whch could be used when the tidal state made it impossible to enter the River Nyfer. Modern aerial photography confirms the beach access but shows that the hinterland is now golf club and car park. Teh rockey outcrop of the Black Mares is to the north.
