The annoation 'L.K' is shown on the northern side the beach, although no corresponding round or square building with chimney is shown? Modern aerial photography shows only tree cover. It is possible that this was an older establishment abandoned in favour of the limekiln adjacent the quarries on the southern side of the inlet?
