Archaeological remains associated with the loss of this vessel are not confirmed as present at this location, but may be in the vicinity (one of three reports for the loss of an ELIZA on the same stretch of coast on the same night - see also 525302 and 271304).
Event and Historical Information:
In the aftermath of the Royal Charter Gale 25-26 October 1859, the Pembrokeshire Herald printed a report of losses which included referred to 'ELIZA, at Bardsey, all drowned.'
