Site Record

A shooting platform in a disused rifle range (NPRN 528909). This structure is a raised, earthwork mound, measuring 4.75 metres northeast to southwest, by 2.5 metres wide and up to 0.5 metres high. It has concrete sides, about 0.15 metres thick, but its top is levelled and grassed over. It appears on the 4th edition 1:2500 Ordnance Survey map as the 100 yard mark on the rifle range. J.J.
