Description
Calderbrooke Lodge, Troedyaur is a prefabricated Scandinavian cottage, erected in 1903 for one of the Lloyd Williams of Plas Gwernant (then called Alderbrook). It has a painted timber-frame with boarded panels, a stone plinth with deep eaved slate hipped roofs and brick stacks. This cottage was also known as Plas Bach. The building was carefully restored by Paul Key in 1994-5.
