Description
A sheepfold and shelter within a quarried hollow, attached to an enclosure wall 531310 to the north. The sheepfold is roughly rectangular, aligned north-south, and measures approximately 8m by 6m, with a 3m stretch of wall extending towards the enclosure wall. The shelter is attached to the west side of the sheepfold and measures 1m by 2m. It is aligned north-south and has a stone lintel over its entrance. A 2m long stretch of revetment is located 7m to the east, lining the edge of a quarry hollow. The walls of the structure survive up to 1.8m in height and 0.8m wide.
