A Bronze Age cairn is shown here on the 1875 1:2500 Ordnance Survey map. By 1979, land improvements had seen the monument completely removed from the landscape. No trace of it was found in 2012, despite a detailed search of the location. R.P.Sambrook, Trysor, 28 March 2013
