Description
A lofted beudy, 8m SW-NE x 5.2m, with drystone walls on boulder footings, now roofless. The gable ends stand up to 2.5m high, whilst the NW wall is 1.2m high, on which is later coping 0.3m high. The entrance is in the SW gable end, and there is a lintelled pitching hole in the NE gable. Against the NE end are 4 large upright slabs, one with graffiti, 'WH 1851 / ERM 1881'. Outside the NW wall is a covered gully at least 2m long. There is a haystack yard to the SE, 10m SW-NE x 6m, built into the bank and with a wall up to 1m high.
The building is marked as roofless on the 1891 OS map and is sited outside the E corner of a large enclosure (NPRN 532740).
