Description
A long 2-cell sheepfold marked on the 1891 OS map. It measures 21m E-W x 7m, built between natural outcrops on steep ground, which define its narrow shape, on the N side of Penygaer defended enclosure (NPRN 93529). It is bound by drystone retaining walls standing up to 1.5m high, with the entrance in the S side.
