Two parallel cuttings into the hillside, both oriented WSW-ENE, 7m long and up to 2.5m wide and 0.8m deep. 8m away to the E (uphill) is a depression 2m in diameter, possibly subsidence relating to these mines. (The site is not shown on the 1901 OS map.)
