DescriptionMarked as a 'Coal Level' on the 1901 OS map. A cutting into an E-facing hillside, 12m long, 5m wide and 1.5m deep, the entrance either blocked or concealed by subsidence, and covered in vegetation. At the lower (E) end is a spoil tip 15m E-W x 10m and 4m high, which has a turf-covered flat upper surface.
