Description
A C19 roadside quarry cut into an E-facing slope, 8m wide and 25m deep. There is a bedrock face on the uphill (W) side 2m high, the other sides steep with thin turf. Smaller subsidiary quarry pits extend 30m to the S. Marked on the 1884 OS map, it probably provided stone to build Pentwyn village.
