A former lead mine on a W-facing slope, its entrance completely blocked by large boulders, with water flowing out beneath. On the downhill (W) side is a flat-topped spoil tip, approximately 20m E-W x 18m, containing small rubble partly grass-covered. The tip is marked on the 1891 OS map.
