Description
One of a line of stones marked on the 1880 OS map as boundary stones dividing the parishes of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog and Llansantffraid Glyn Ceiriog. They are also fence piers set at right-angles to the boundary, with holes drilled through for wire. Some of the stones are no longer in situ. This example is an unworked, slightly tapering, vertical slab, 1m high, 0.55m wide and 0.17m thick, with 8 drill holes.
Recorded as part of RCAHMW Uplands Initiative Project, W B Horton, H & H, 07/07/2014.
