Description
Early C19 upright stone on a field bank (NPRN 539270), one of several erected on the bank for attaching fence wire. The boundary here is marked as 'Mrs Tyrwhitt's wire fence' on the Llangadwaladr Tithe plan of 1839 and was the boundary of the Nantyr Estate and the parishes of Llangadwaladr and Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog. This rough triangular slab is 1.1m high, up to 1.3m wide and 0.2m thick, with 3 drill holes. It is on the bank, but leaning at approximately 60 degrees.
