Description
Rhydymwyn station was on the former Mold & Denbigh Junction Railway and was opened in 1869; it was located immediately south of a level crossing in the village of Rhydymwyn. The main station buildings are on the west side and include a two-storey stationmaster's house; a timber waiting shelter was set on a brick base on the east platform. The line closed in 1964 but the main buildings remain and are in use as a private residence; the waiting shelter also survives. The track bed between the platforms has been filled-in and the edging stones used in garden walls.
