Description
A sheep fold is shown here on the 1st edition 1:10560 Ordnance Survey map of 1891. It was recorded by Trysor during fieldwork for the Y Rhobellau-Dduallt Uplands Survey in 2014. The drystone structure is built between an outcrop to the south and the Afon Eiddon stream to the north of it. It consists of two cells, the southern one has an offset to the west. Access between the two cells is via a wide gap. The walls are 0.6 metres to 0.7 metres wide and up to 1 metre high. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 25 March 2015
