Description
A small rectangular house. The house is attached to the northern end of four yards or riving sheds. The sheds have entrances on the western side. The house is a two celled structure with a single entrance, flanked by two windows, also on the western side. The walls survive to full, single story height, although the roof is not present. The house is constructed from angular slate stone and mortar. Some internal render still can still be seen. A hood wall is present to the north end of the building for the purpose of drainage. Altogether the buildings measure 27m by 5m. This site is shown on the First and Second Edition 6" and modern OS mapping. H. Leighton, OA North, 4th February 2015.
