Various upstanding earthwork features, heavily eroded by ploughing, lie on roughly level agricultural land.

Earthworks define a discrete block of relict fields, c.300m NE-SW by 130-230m, in the area of Stout Hall Park (Nprn265706), thought to have been laid out in the 1790's. The trees depicted in this area on OS County series (Glamorgan XXXI.1 1879) may include some hedgerow ghosts.
