This ruined farmstead is located at the highest part of the hill against the boundary wall that encloses the settlement. It shows piecemeal development, but the 1845 tithe map indicates that all the additions had been built by that date. There is a central direct-entry cottage of 2 stories, with ruinous additions at either end, the northerly one having an open front and so presumably a cart shed.
