Siop Ffynnon-oer is a typical range of Cardiganshire clay-built cottages, dating from the eighteenth century. It has scarfed-cruck trusses and original thatch roofs under corrugated-iron. It comprises 3 in-line units, a central unit of crog-loft type with the remains of a wattle fireplace, a cattle house on the lower, southern, end and a domestic unit linked internally at the upper northern end.
