Description
The south-east end house of an early nineteenth century three storey row that contributes to the north-eastern backdrop to the inner harbour (See NPRN 310493). No. 14, adjoining on the south-east, is a lower two storey building.
On the OS County series 1st edition (Cardigan. XVIII.12 1890) No. 13 appears to be part of a public house with No. 12. This had an extensive rear range. On the 2nd edition of 1905 it was a separate property and retained part of the public house rear range.
No. 13 is a narrow three storey house under a slate gabled roof flanked by chimney stacks. It presents a two bay rendered facade with the doorway on the right hand side. This opens onto a small vestibule and then a long corridor with a stair to the rear. The main building is two rooms deep with two rooms on the first two floors and three on the upper storey. A two storey gabled rear range has replaced the earlier detached range.
