DescriptionAn earlier nineteenth century house occupying a corner plot between Bridge Street and Market Street. It now forms the core of the Castle Hotel and the interior has been greatly altered.
This is a three storey building under a slate hipped roof. It faces Market Street where it presents a symetrical three bay facade of painted render with a plinth, rusticated quoins and window surrounds. The central doorway is set in a round headed opening. The return facade to Bridge Street is similar with windows to either side.
