A meeting house was first built on the site of the Isaac Welsh Independent Chapel in 1672, but it was rebuilt in 1780 and/or 1790, and the current chapel dates from 1846. It is in the simple round-headed style of the long-wall entry type. The walls are of random rubble stone walling, rendered with cement plaster facing. The roof is timber framed with Welsh slate cladding.
