Adulam Baptist Church was built in 1709 on a different site and incorporated in 1735. The chapel was rebuilt in 1840 and the exterior and interior radically renewed in 1879, to the design of architect Henry Thomas of Swansea. The present chapel, dated 1879, is built in the Simple Round- Headed style with a gable entry. The chapel, vestry, baptistery, railings and gates are all Grade 2 listed.
