A long range of spoil tips on the N side of a long scouring channel (nprn 67313), aligned approaximately WNW-ESE. The NW end is at SO 25861073; the SE end is where the tip has been cut by the Blaenavon to Llanellen road at SO 2612 1066. Approximately 350m long (although continuing S of the road), 40 m wide and 2m high. Iron ore was extracted here in the early C19.
