Description
A group of former walled gardens defined by footings of drystone walls, lines of hawthorn, and low banks. Approximately 80m NE-SW parallel with Hills Tramroad, by 50m. A central pathway along the long axis had gardens on either side of it. At the NE end the ground falls sharply and the boundary wall on the downhill side, immediately adjacent to the Blaenavon-Llanfoist road, has been taken down. In 1881 there were 9 gardens of various sizes, which were associated with the 9 cottages in a row (nprn 67376) to the SW.
