Description
Built over the Blaenavon branch of the LNWR (opened 1869) to carry a track (nprn 67533) from Big Pit. Initially the railway was probably used to take spoil to a large tip, but latterly it carried coal from Big Pit to a coal washery, and therefore was probably last used c1980. Shown as a single-track railway on 1st ed OS so present bridge is probably later.

A double-track plate-girder railway bridge with snecked, rock-faced stone abutments.
