Description
Pen-Mownt Methodist Chapel was built in 1780 and rebuilt int 1801. The chapel was rebuilt a second time in 1841 by architect William Thomas, and again in 1861 with the addition of a vestry, and in 1870 a Sunday School. The fourth rebuild in 1881, to the design of architects Owen Morris Roberts and William Jones of Porthmadog, was constructed in the Classical style with a short-wall entry plan. The chapel is now Grade 2 listed.
