A bronze statue of Saint Carannog, founder of the the village of Llangrannog, standing on the headland overlooking Llangrannog beach. It was designed and built by the internationally renowned sculptor Sebastien Boyesen, and was unveiled by the Archbishop of Wales on 12 May 2012.

Carannog (Caranog or Carantoc) is said to have been the son of Corun ab Caredig ab Cunedda, a 6th century saint and founder of several churches in Wales, including St Carannoog in Llangrannog (NPRN 105265).  The church is near to the cave said to have been used by the Saint when in the area, 

The sculpture emphasizes the Saint’s role as a travelling missionary - roughly dressed and carrying the tools of his trade.
