Cilgwyn Methodist Chapel was first built in 1654 and then rebuilt in 1825 and 1840, and renovated in1906. The present chapel, dated 1840, is built in the Simple Round-Headed style of the long-wall entry type. By 1998 Cilgwyn was being used as a Urdd meeting hall.
