Engedi Methodist Chapel was built in 1879 to the design of Richard Owen of Liverpool. A Sunday School was added in 1886. In 1898 the chapel was rebuilt in the Gothic style with a gable-entry plan. Engedi closed in 1987 and remained disused in 2000.
