Mount Zion Methodist Chapel was built in 1858, in the Simple Round-Headed style with a gable-entry plan. In 1914 it was replaced by a new chapel on another site (NPRN 97293) and was afterwards used as a schoolroom and now as a school refectory. Mount Zion id now Grade 2 Listed as the earliest surviving chapel in the locality and a good example of traditional nonconformist architecture.
