Ebeneser (1) Independent Chapel was built in 1862 in the Sub-Classical style, to the design of architect Thomas Thomas of Landore. This new building replaced an earlier nineteenth century site at Pentrefelin (NPRN 7992). Ebeneser (1) was replaced in 1975 by a new chapel (NPRN 97174) and demolished in 1979.
