Description

'Ruins of a small farmstead on the south-western slopes of Craig-y-garn, comprising two stone buildings and a series drystone-walled fields and lanes. Both are roughly built with large boulders. The western building is a barn, and the more ruined eastern one is a direct-entry cottage measuring roughly 5.4m by 7.2m externally. The downhill (west) gable has the remains of a fireplace recess and a bake oven in the side wall. On the tithe map it is named as Brandy Bach and comprises a barn, house and garden, occupied by John Humphreys; but it is shown as a ruin on later OS maps.'
