Description

High School completed in 1955 as part of a large campus which incoorporated a junior school. Built to the designs of County Architect Herbert Carr on land opposite T. Alwyn Lloyd's pre-World War I garden suburb houses. Carr’s school buildings are distinctive for their accomplished mix of Neo-Georgian and Modernist and his High School at Llanidloes was his most expensive project.
