Section of Roman road agger, partly fossilised under modern country lanes and partly preserved as upstanding earthwork. The southern part of this section is fossilised by a modern lane heading south of Pen-isa'r-rhos; to the north it is preserved as an upstanding agger on commonland, and then continues for another 800m to SH 4895 5856 past Dolau Gwyn and north towards Cae-mawr.
