CHERISH Project aerial reconnaissance for the Royal Commission on 4th July 2018 recorded cropmarks of an extensive area of plough-levelled linear ditches in fields to the north of Taigwynion. The linear ditches appear to be remnants of an early field system, predating the modern layout of farms and fields.
