Description

Llanfabon Infant School is believed to have been built in the 1990s, in buff brick with slate pitched roof and central pyramid hipped roof. Protruding gable end wings marked with round windows and exposed cellular beams atop of end posts. Under Welsh Government's 21st Century Schools Programme, a new Primary School has been proposed for Llancaeach / Llanfabon, aiming to amalgamate Llancaeach Junior School and Llanfabon Infants School to create a new Primary School and to include community use of the facility. This was planned via the expansion and refurbishment of the existing Llanfabon Infants site.

M. Powel, RCAHMW. August 2024.
