A timber trestle bridge built in the early 1820s which carried the Gwaunclawdd Tramroad over the River Tawe. The bridge was probably built by the engineer Joseph Jones of Ystradgynlais and John Jeffreys of Sglydach as part of the Brecon Forest Tramroad (nprn 406399). Stone abutments remain and there may be the remains of the timber supports in the river-bed.
