Conversion and enlargement of the former parish hall, St Andrew's and St Teilo's Church (NPRN 408449), with attached scout hut. Parish hall enlarged and re-fronted 2008-10 creating two large halls with space for female worshippers. Scout hall unchanged and used by 1st Cathays al-Huda Muslim Scout Group. Founded by postgraduate Muslim students and hosts Muslim Chaplaincy (2011). New brick front with signage in English above entrance: 'DUR UL-ISRA / Muslim Educational and Welfare Centre'. Bilingual Welsh/English signage externally (Welcome/Croeso) and internally.
