A bank of three or four limekilns, built between the 1820s and 1840s, stood between Twyn Disgwylfa Limestone Quarry (nprn 80195) and the Brecon Forest Tramroad (nprn 406399). The site was marked as 'Old Limekilns' on the second edition of the Ordnance Survey 25in map of 1905 and the kilns have been mostly buried beneath modern quarry waste.
