Description
The house at Coedtrewernau (nprn 410437) is a one and a half storey building of local rubble stone and stands under a pitched slated roof on low-lying ground some 10m north of the Cylywedog Brook, in range with a former corn mill (nprn 40284). The present house may date from the mid-nineteenth century; it originally faced the stream (south) but has been restored and the main entrance is now through an open timber-frame porch adjacent to a single-storey gabled projection on the north side. There was a stone chimney stack at each end of the house; that to the west has been partly rebuilt in brick.
