Cottage of C16-C17 date, altered during C19 when the adjacent blacksmith's forge was in operation. Whitewashed stone with a slate roof. One storey and attic. C19 casment windows with timber lintels; three raised and gabled dormers with casement windows on each side. Interior: timber-framed partition built into pair of raised crucks. Type 'B' house. Spine beams.
