Description
St John's Methodist Chapel was founded and built in 1868 to the design of C.O. Ellison of Liverpool. It is constructed from polygonal masonry in a Gothic style, with an assymetric facade of lancet windows and a timber porch. A Sunday School and Manse were added between 1877 and 1878. St John's is now Grade 2 Listed as a good example of Early English style chapel architecture and clear connection with the development of Rhyl as a holiday resort for a predominantly English market.
