Farmhouse of longhouse type, originally cruck framed. House now modernized but retaining cruck-truss in dais-end position. The timber-framed walling of the house has been replaced in several phases but the weather-boarded cowhouse remains in range with the house. There is an adjacent timber-framed barn (NPRN 81694).
